Vacation!

Scott and I arrived in Atlanta Saturday afternoon for a week's vacation!

Happy New Year!!!

Can't believe it is a new year already! I have a few resolutions I need to make "public" or I will never stick to them:

• Walk more - I need to get back into going for walks after dinner - I really enjoyed it and funnily, I stopped doing it once the weather turned better.
• I need to clean out my house - I have too much stuff. First priority is my craft closet, then, the Tupperware cabinet.
• I have quite a few craft projects started. I need to finish at least one per quarter. That gives me 3 months to get them done - and most of them are just back stitching. I hate backstitching...
• Blog more. I thought I'd blog more now that we have internet at home again, but I never do it. It's too easy to forget, because the room my computer is in is messy, so I avoid it.

So let's see if I actually stick to my resolutions.

Holiday Hallway

This is how the hallway is decorated this year. We went with a snowman theme. Everyone who lives in the building got a stocking (including Molly, Scott's Mom's evil cat). There are little peppermints scattered along the "snow". The first photo shows the entire scene, with crystal nutcracker candle holders (a super find a few years ago from The Christmas Tree Shop) on either side of the mirror. It was difficult to show all the detail so I took closer shots of the left and right sides of the mantle. The last shot is of the front door to our apartment. That wreath was a gift last year from Scott's sister, Leslie.
